The installation piece, "Wall of Light" and "The Chakra Series" were part of KristinG's solo show, at the NAAS (The New American Art Studio), in Harlem, which was a group artist space. Kristin collaborated with Steve Orr, writer, and used it as the inspiration for the performance piece, "Fear, Love, and Sadness"(see video), which is currently being reinvented.

Each of the seven major chakras has its own distinct character and relates to a unique aspect of our being. The chakras correlate to levels of consciousness, body functions, colors, elements, sounds, and much more.

The 6th chakra is located between, and just above, the eyes. It is often referred to as the "third eye." This chakra deals with visualization, intuition, imagination and telepathy.
